Alacrity pics: Travis Treat

Travis Treat is a Sea Ranger leader in Northers Arkansas, USA. He has aquired an Alacrity for his boys to learn sailing on. The boat needs some work though.
Here it has just been trailered over 3000 miles to her new home. (It's not Travis on the photo).

This 1968 Alacrity "Chloe".
Robert Fey has just purchased her and is going to clean her up and sail her in the Cheasapeake Bay area in the US.

This is Peter Hardy's "Domine", AY 330. He bought the boat from his brother who had had it for four years but sailed it very little.

Now Peter, who is a technology teacher, plans to paint the boat and add a wooden fender strip. Here the boat is moored at Wivenhoe, Essex.

Alacrity pics: Minimo

This is Massimo Santamaria's Alacrity. Massimo is Italian but lives in Zurich, Switzerland and keeps his boat on lake Zurich (Obersee). It's his first boat and he bought it in spring 2005. The boat's name was "Honeybum" when he bought it, but has since been changed to"Minimo".
The boat has now (nov 2006) been repainted and the name change is competed. This is how she looks now:

Alacrity pics: Kama'aina

This is Dale Rider's Alacrity "Kama'aina". The name is Hawaiian. Dale use to live there for a while. Now he lives in Venice, Florida. This is his first boat and he has already sailed her in the Gulf of Mexico.
The boat had been damaged in hurricane gabrielle in 2001, but the damage was not severe.

This is Johan Moreau and Ricardo Cavallari's Alacrity "Jorica". After restoring the boat they launched her in July 2005. They live in Gothenburg on the Swedish West Coast. More pictures of this boat can be found here.

Alacrity pics: Teal

This is Malcolm Andrew's Alacrity "Teal". It was previously called "Tada" on this website because of a planned owner and name change. However the deal did not come true and Malcolm now plans to get the boat out on Ebay. Edit: The boat now probably has a new owner.
